I usually kill one group of am fah up there to stop the farming code (I think it kicks in if u kill many bosses in a row only, without killing others)
Then I lure lou towards the res shrine, so if I die I can get back to him while hes still on low hitpoints.
Well done Tark, time for you to try stonereaper and milthuran

If you fail to kill Milthuran you need to be shot If theres no warrior in his group you can just ignore them completey and kill him first. Good for Cloth though Outcasts.
Whats the drop-rate on Jayne Forestlight? The stingy git never seems to drop anything good, not to mention always been on the other side of the group to where i am!
Also woohoo, a 4th Ritual Lord Staff, 174k from them now.
Its possible to farm the Trappers Focus Yeti boss too (Mount Qinkai, right of Aspenwood). Bring Distracting Shot for Healing Signet, kill all the yetis on the way (only 2 groups). Kill off his warrior friend, regen, run in and kill his other friends, run off and regen. Go back for the boss, he himself is a pushover. Just make sure to avoid his Vipers Nests, they hit for 136 damage + Poison. It could be possible to farm the other Yeti boss up there (Ritualist), but the huge number of trappers and rits make luring them out extremely hard, specially as they're on a hill.

I've been on a short break from this as I cap elites (176 down and 4 to go ) should be back to it in a few days. Goodness me and I still have like 80 skill points... this solo farming is certainly good for experience

flourish, well of power, eviscerate, fevered dreams, and boon signet?!? wtf... I did get the other two abaddons dryder elites with full henchway tho, as well as ALL but one of the others from mineral. Got kunvie's (henchway) and that mesmer (he was EASY) but spot on for mineral (aparently 5 left - I miscounted). All for my ranger by the way , soon advanced skill hunter (3)

Aggro management becomes a large pain in the ass if your arrival is mis-timed (ie: right as you get to Ironclaw, he should be fighting the wardens already or you mis-timed). If you mis-timed your arrival, which is something very easily missed(though you timed it perfectly in the vid), then it's nigh impossible to pull the larger(not the smaller) group of warden and Chkkr's group back together from 2 screens away without dying.
Once I do manage to pull them together, there's still nothing I can do to take out their mender. As soon as I even go near any of the mantis casters, ALL the mantis creeps ignore the wardens and focus on me. The wardens, being ignored, also then proceeds to focus on me. Needless to say, I die very fast with -10 degen and periodical knockdowns. I don't know if this is a side-effect of the patch or not.
I've attempted this run about 15 times with my ranger tonight, and I've only been able to correctly time it once. All the other times I end up with some Oni spawning along the way, or some patrols in the wrong place, deterring my progress and thus throwing off my arrival time.
The one time that I did get Chkkr down to himself, I couldn't take him out by copying exactly wot you did in the video. For some reason he only used sig once in the vid you made. Whereas for me he used it like a madman. Yes I did use distracting shot to disable it for 20 seconds. But 20 seconds is not enough to kill him. In the vid you took ~35 seconds to kill him after hitting him with distracting shot; but for you, he didn't use heal sig again even after it was no longer disabled. When I hit him with distracting shot, he uses it as soon as it recharges O_o....
Do you have any tips to make this run more reliable?

I can give u some hints
Tip#1, don't hurry, just take out the onis u meet on ur way there
Tip#2, when they are not fighting, first run around to catch an oni (you don't want to get one on you in the middle of battle) either kill him yourself or let chkkr ironclaw deal with it.
Tip#3, don't lure all the wardens, use the first group to take out the mender, this is done by first getting chkkr ironclaw, then walking into the wardens, then dodging away(so u dont get all the mantids on ur tail and they start fighting the wardens). Then return to the mender and just spam touches until hes dead, move off again after.
By now chkkrs group will have killed the wardens, proceed by luring him into another group of wardens, keep watching chkkr health, if he gets into trouble, save him. Just kill the mantids (and the warden of the seasons/summer, if you have to).
Tip#4, Fighting Chkkr Ironclaw's leftovers, after dealing with the leftover mantids (do it as in the video, lightning reflexes into whirling defense -> dodge, and do it again on another target once your energy and stances are reloaded)
Tip#5, Killing Chkkr Ironclaw, you might do best by first practising once, to see how many touches he needs to cast healing signet (which is usually 6) and have distracting shot ready. Immediately after you have distracting shotted him, switch to your energy sword/axe + blood knife, SPAM touches and Oob, keep touching, never stop, don't have a down time, when running out of energy, second set Oob, keep spamming touches, never ever wait for energy to reload. It works like this, once chkkr ironclaw goes down to the lowest of life, he will stop using healing signet (as it has a risico factor -40 armor). So get him down to low health as quickly as you can.
Tip#6, If you can't work it out like the above, you can distract his first healing signet, touch him with your bow, count the 20 seconds +4 seconds base recharge, and be ready to interrupt his second healing signet as well, from then spam touches like mad, it will be easy to get him down low enough then.
Dying once is hurtful but doable, dying twice makes it very hard, as then you won't have enough energy to freely spam him down to low life where he stops using healing signet. At 60% dp, lure him to the shrine, distract his fist healing signet, touch touch touch touch touch (die cuz of a random hit) when u revive, have distracting shot ready
interrupt his second healing signet, touch touch touch touch death, repeat cycle until hes dead.
I hope this helped! Thanks for watching the video

ah...so that's the secret ^^, I think when I tried to do it I didn't get his hp low enough, fast enough.
as for the aggro problem, once you pull Chkkr into the wardens, do you dodge into the wardens, or away from both wardens and chkkr? I've attempted the latter many times only to have Chkkr + Mantis on my tail when I try to sneak up on the Mender. If I do the former, well....I run into the other Warden group.
Thanks for replying! =)

I first walk into the warden group, make sure they attack eachother, then dodge out. (to break aggro from both groups) It should work out ok, if you have the mantids aggro circle in the wardens aggro circle.

I didn't want to post this until I actually killed him, but I keep messing up due to not being on my main computer and this one randomly having a 1s lag on skill activation.. sooo, here's a boss I was toying with, pretty obvious how to kill him if you stay for 1 cycle of patrol patterns.
Mohby Windbeak
MESMER boss~...
he has no attached mob, is easy to pull out, but be careful of patrols.
2 spots you can pull him to, one towards jacqui but not in line with the patrol that comes up that way [or just kill that one..] or up near the wave bluff but 2-3 patrols come really close so you want to be careful with that too [both mobs easily killed, tho]
he's not attached to any group so pulling is not a problem.
enjoy, sad I couldn't get the first r/n kill on him oh well.

Hey there...I really like this build...works really well...I have one question. I might sound a little greedy but I'm in need of money. Which boss would you say, is the best one/s to kill for a quick buck?

money/run average? Ironclaw is worth pretty much run isn't all that long, you could make prettygood profit out of it, if you get a bit lucky (or u do many of them and get nothing...)
The ritual lord, is good money making too.
Jayne can drop 2 items, always good... vera is actually worth something too.
For quick runs u can do the stonereaper/stoneweaver run, or milthurans. The chkkrs are really quick runs too (locust lord and 1000 tails). If you get really lucky, ghial is a one shot big money maker.
